It is with great pleasure that we announce Kelsey Stangebye as the newly elected president of the Illinois Quarter Horse Association (ILQHA). Kelsey has served on the board for several years in various capacities, including secretary, vice president, president, and AQHA national director. Her extensive experience, professionalism, and dedication to the organization have made her an exemplary leader. As an attorney, Kelsey brings a methodical, detail-oriented approach to everything she does, which has earned her the respect and admiration of our members.
One of Kelsey’s primary goals as president is to increase membership participation, which will in turn drive growth for the ILQHA and help achieve her target of increasing stall reservations for the Gordyville Lucky Run. To accomplish this, she plans to focus on several key strategies:
