Big Wins at AQHA Level 1 Championship for Brooke Ace

My very first day of showing a horse was when I was four years old and did a Lead Line class.  I was hooked on horses from that point but it wasn’t until the age of nine years old that I started showing horses through 4H, open shows and then breed shows.
At that time, I showed my appendix quarter horse named Valentinos Bucky, aka Bentley, who has been retired.  I knew I ultimately wanted to show on the AQHA circuit and purchased my current teammate, PS Gota Good Version, aka Elwood, but we both had a few health issues that prevented us from getting a start together right away.  However, in March 2021 the adventure started for us showing AQHA shows and we ended the 2021 year with:
WQHA Year End All Around Rookie Amateur
Multiple WQHA Circuit Champions and High Point Awards
AQHA World Show Level 1 Finalist in Showmanship At Halter
Nationally ranked in Rookie Amateur Events in Showmanship, Horsemanship and Western Pleasure

With these accomplishments in 2021, Elwood and I have been continuing to work on our focus for 2022.  With that, we headed off to the AQHA East Level 1 Championship Show held at the World Equestrian Center in Wilmington, Ohio where there were AQHA exhibitors from 40 state and two Canadian provinces competing for 184 championship titles at the largest AQHA Level 1 Championship in AQHA history.  A record 555 exhibitors were first-time Level 1 Championship participants.  Elwood and I are so proud to be Champions in two classes held there; Champion in the Rookie Amateur Showmanship At Halter class with 74 participants and Champion in the Level 1 Showmanship At Halter class that had 105 participants.

It was nothing short of amazing, to say the least, and one of my wildest dreams come true.  None of this would have been possible without the wonderful support team of my parents, Wayne and Dee Ace and Coltin Suddeth for his daily encouragement and understanding me chasing my dreams.  A special thank you to Valerie Kearns for her positive support and work with Elwood and I.  Everyone else that has supported and believed in me as well.   Finally, to my horse, Elwood as he is my best friend, teacher and teammate.
