The ILQHYA community would like to welcome our newest youth member Harper Urish. Harper is 12 years old and lives in Chadwick Illinois with her parents Mike and Lindsey. She has three siblings two older brothers Jace and Payton and a little sister Slone. Harper’s family owns 3 horses and a pony her favorites are Maggie and Poppy. Recently Harper and her family purchased a show horse. Her registered name is Forget Me Not, affectionately called “Maggie”. Harper’s goals with her new horse are to figure out all her buttons and get to know the little things about each other. Another objective is to begin showing with Maggie later in the year. Harper is very excited to show and most excited about competing in Equitation. Harper does so much more than just horse riding, she plays volleyball, softball, basketball, shows cattle, participates in 4H, and she likes running. Be on the look out for this special girl and her new horse this summer!
