RECREATIONAL RIDING

The ILLINOIS QUARTER HORSE ASSOCIATION’S 2008 CHARITY TRAIL RIDE was held SEPTEMBER 26-28, at the 16,550 acre JIM EDGAR PANTHER CREEK FISH AND WILDLIFE AREA. Here are some comments from the trail ride:

Give yourself a big pat on the back. Your trail ride was over the top. Everything so well organized and ran without a hitch-that's great planning. Even the weather was perfect-you really are good! Plenty of activities for all to enjoy. Tim's clinic was outstanding and am sure all enjoyed his masterful presentation. The IQHA representatives were very friendly to all, even us outsiders with gaited horses. Just think it was a great event for all horse lovers and should be a real boost for IQHA, CIRT, and JEPC, thanks to your hard work and attention to detail.

Thanks so much for making this wonderful week-end possible...

Take a deep breath, relax and start focusing on your trip. I'm giving you an A+ in trail ride planning and giving you the year off. Take care and Happy Trails!! Love, Betty
